The older houses near the waterfront have small rooms, uneven floors and walls that are not square. Standard cabinet runs do not simply drop in. Scribing, filler pieces and a proper site measure are the difference between a kitchen that looks built-in and one that looks bought.

St James and the newer builds

Out at St James the houses are large and the kitchens are the center of the plan — islands with seating, butler's pantries, panelled appliances. This is where furniture-grade pieces earn their money: a built hutch, a panelled island end, a hood built as joinery.

We already work out there

St James and Southport are on our project list. Forty-five minutes is a normal run for us, and the crew is our own, not a subcontractor we found locally.
