Established in 1996 by W. Neal Nesbitt and Bill Gentry, Shoreline Cabinet Company has proudly served the Wilmington area for nearly three decades as a trusted, full-service cabinetry company specializing in expert design and professional installation for the heart of the home.
Today, Shoreline Cabinet Company is owned and operated by Josh and Liz Cleghorn, Wilmington locals who have called the area home for more than 20 years. They are committed to continuing the craftsmanship, service standards, and reputation for quality that Shoreline has built since its founding.
Josh comes from a family with deep roots in custom home construction in the Banner Elk and High Country of North Carolina, bringing a builder’s perspective, attention to detail, and respect for time-tested construction practices to every project. Liz is a licensed real estate professional with Blue Coast Realty, providing valuable insight into the needs of homeowners, buyers, builders, and investors throughout the coastal Carolina market.
Together, Josh and Liz are focused on strengthening relationships with longtime Shoreline clients while expanding connections with new customers, builders, and real estate professionals throughout the Wilmington community. Their approach is hands-on, relationship-driven, and rooted in long-term trust.
Shoreline Cabinet Company continues to offer premium cabinetry from Dura Supreme, Medallion, Bertch, and Legacy, along with a full range of countertop solutions including solid surface, quartz, granite, laminate, and cultured marble. W. Neal Nesbitt
After six years in the U.S. Navy & subsequent graduation from UNCW, Neal got back into the construction industry, in 1993 Neal began his career in the cabinet industry. After studying with a designer of over 15 years experience, Neal left to begin Shoreline Cabinet Company with Bill Gentry. With over 14 years of design experience, Neal continues to stay up-to-date with trends through research, periodicals and ongoing education.
“I enjoy meeting and talking with people. I like to put together a space where people can be comfortable in their home, and the design work gives me an outlet for my creativity.”
Neal graduated from UNC Wilmington with a degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing. Neal is on the Board of Directors for Cape Fear Rescue Mission, Yahweh Center Children’s Village and a member of Pine Valley United Methodist Church. Neal is married to Dawn and has 2 boys – Trevor & Dustin.
